SuperBasic Lives

SB is a modern .NET 10 toolchain for SuperBASIC and Structured SuperBASIC. It lets .bas, .sb, and .ssb programs run on contemporary systems without Sinclair QL hardware or full machine emulation. The pipeline preprocesses structured source, parses with ANTLR, builds an AST, performs semantic analysis, lowers to HIR, and either interprets the program or emits C#, C, or a published .NET executable.

The interpreter is the reference backend. Generated backends are available but still evolving. SB supports a growing subset of files, channels, screen/window control, graphics, input, control flow, routines, and built-ins while avoiding firmware-dependent QL behavior.
